Brad Engelsman Design Architecture PLLC is a New York City-based design studio. At BEDA, we work on projects at many levels of complexity and scale. Our approach to each project is unique and involves a combination of experimentation, research, and engaged collaboration between our clients and team. As a design-focused architecture studio working between professional practice and academia, each new project presents an opportunity to produce unique work that is rigorously designed and expertly executed to create lasting value. Our project locations span the country and our work has been recognized internationally through design awards, publications, and exhibitions.
Prior to founding BEDA, Engelsman worked as a project manager and senior designer at several award-winning design firms in New York City including: KPF, Dror, and Hollwich Kushner (HWKN). Upon graduating from Columbia University, he received the Honor Award for Design Excellence with distinction and a Lucille Smyzer LowenFish Memorial Prize. He was also named as an international finalist for the SOM Prize in Architecture, Design, and Urban Design.
