Apt 809
RESIDENTIAL #2101 IN PROGRESS
Designed for a family of five, Apt 809 is a 4,000 sqft beachside apartment in Miami, Florida. The design employs a white oak feature wall which splits the apartment into two halves. One side of the wall holds the larger scale areas for living, gathering, dining, and cooking, while the other houses the more intimate spaces for sleeping, bathing, and relaxation. Key to the design, layout, and detailing of the project were the thresholds around and through this boundary.
